The Llandudno Small Boat Sea Angling Club was established in 1991 and currently enjoys a membership of 42 adults and six junior members, the majority being Llandudno residents, the remainder coming from Cheshire, Merseyside and North Wales.

The club is an affiliated member of the "Welsh Federation of Sea Anglers."

The club is run by a committee of ten with an elected chairman, vice chairman, treasurer and secretary and hold monthly meetings on the second Tuesday of each month at the Llandudno Sailing Club, (Llandudno Promenade) at 8:00 p.m. to which all members are welcome.

Members launch their boats at recognized launching sites in the Conwy area i.e. Colwyn Bay, Conwy and Llandudno and also tow their boats to launching sites in Anglesey and Gwynedd.
Boat owners have to annually register their boats with Conwy Council which then also allows their use at Council owned launching sites in Anglesey and Gwynedd.

In addition to various competitions run throughout the year the club also runs monthly "Fish of the Month" competitions culminating in best fish of the year in both "round" and "flatfish" categories, and "Best of Mini Species", all entries calculated against the Welsh record.

Current club subscriptions are 20 per annum, 15 for Senior members and juniors (under 16 years) free.
